For Mike Merolle, construction isn’t simply a profession—it’s a family tradition. Representing the fourth generation of his family in the construction industry, Mike has spent more than 37 years gaining hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of residential construction and home improvement. His background has given him a practical understanding of how homes are built, how they should be maintained, and what it takes to complete a project properly.
Throughout his career, Mike saw too many homeowners struggle with confusing estimates, high-pressure sales tactics, unreliable contractors, and work that failed to meet expectations. He believed homeowners deserved a better way to make important decisions about their homes—one built on honest information, qualified professionals, transparent communication, and genuine accountability.
That belief inspired Mike to create The Home Builders Network, Inc. The company was founded to provide homeowners with a trusted resource for roofing, replacement windows and doors, bathroom remodeling, and other essential home-improvement services. Rather than focusing on simply making a sale, Mike and his team focus on understanding each homeowner’s needs, clearly explaining the available options, and completing every project correctly the first time.
Mike is a Florida State Certified Building Contractor and State Certified Roofing Contractor. He is also a Haag Certified Residential Roofing Inspector, a VSI Certified Installer, a CertainTeed Gold Star–credentialed contractor for low-slope modified roofing, and an Atlas Pro+™ Gold Level Roofing Contractor.
