Our team was contacted by a new client recently, they hired our team at Home Builder's Network, Inc. to perform a roof & skylight replacement in Maitland, FL. The clients current roof was in disarray and in desperate need of replacing. Our team came out to the clients home and began the process of replacing the roof by removing the old shingles, underlayment, and the old skylight. We then installed new underlayment, then we began installing the new shingles. These new shingles are Atlas Pinnacle black shadow shingles, we also installed a TrueRidge ridge vent onto the homes roofing system to promote better ventilation to the homes roofing system and attic. Once the new shingle roofing and ventilation was installed we then began the skylight installation. The skylight we chose to install is locally manufactured in Florida, made by Kennedy Skylights. Our team installed the skylight with no problems, we made sure that it was properly installed with no breaks in the seal that could cause for drafts. The client was ecstatic about their new roof and skylight system. This new roofing system should last this client for many years to come, thanks to the tested durability of the Atlas Pinnacle shingle series.
