Home Builder's Network recently finished a balcony waterproofing in Longwood, FL, for a clients old unit. This client has a balcony that from the front looks completely normal, but once you see it from up close you can see that the balconies old waterproof seal had withered away and left behind a cracked chipped area. The client was tired of opening their windows in the morning to see the view of chipped paint and weathered concrete. So, the client decided to do an online search for someone to help them, after a short search the client discovered our team at the Home Builder's Network. Reviewing our previous work the client decided to choose our team for the job. We ventured out to the clients home to provide them with an estimate, and upon agreement of the price we got to work. We began this new project by removing all dirt and debris stuck in the balcony area and fully stripping the balcony of old paint and sealant. The old sealant and paint is all but gone only leaving behind blotches and chipped pieces of the old balcony top. We then began pouring a liquid waterproofing system to the balcony. This Tremco Volcom 350 & 351 liquid sealant was applied across the balcony and should last the client many years to come. The client was so happy with the work done and is looking forward to opening their windows to a new freshly coated balcony from here on out.
